Frozen North! February 5, 2018

Hello friends and family!
It's been a good week! Lots of good things happening and not so good things too. But that's missionary life for you! It has been FREEZING too. I just want to start by giving my condolences to the Reisinger family in New Bloomfield. Heaven gained a great angel this week in Pappy. I loved that man. He had a heart of gold and was one of the most giving and hard working people I've ever met. I sincerely miss him and your family has been in my prayers. I'm just grateful for the knowledge I have that we will see him again. It was an honor to have known him.
 HIGHLIGHTS
 1. Wednesday was a bitter sweet last day in Warren. We saw my favorite people Theresa and brother McDunn and sister Harrington. I am so grateful for the time I had in Warren. I feel confident I left it better than I found it and I am excited to see what other work will be done there. Warren has a piece of my heart.
 2. On Saturday we went tracting in one of the projects of many in our area. We knocked on a door of a lady named Marta who is from south Sudan. She was mourning the loss of her grandson. She let us right in and bore a strong testimony of her savior Jesus christ. She told us, "you believe in christ, you are not my enemy!" she sang us a song of praising God in Swahili and I felt the spirit so strong as she talked with us. She invited us to come back, and I am so excited to teach her.
 3. We are teaching this awesome refugee family of 4 girls and a boy. Who's names are Hagaar, afaf, Julie, Jo, and Judy. They speak broken English, but we were able to teach them the restoration this week and it was so awesome to watch the spirit testify to them that what we taught was true. I'm incredibly blessed to be teaching these humble people finding a place in America. They are awesome. 4. I've been learning sign language for a less active who is deaf and that's honestly been such a highlight. I've always wanted to learn, and it's been really cool to be an instrument in the lords hands as he helps me learn the language. I think that's all I have for this week.
I love yinz and have an awesome week!

Let us teach you the gospel.
