Brightly Beams Our Father's Mercy! February 12,2018

Hello everyone!
So this week..... Hmm where to even begin. I don't know haha. It's been a pretty good week. Colder than life but really good! I'm learning to love Erie and the people in it. I'm not going to lie, I've been struggling a bit, but I know this will all be for my good! I have been really sick but I'm slowly recovering! Haha.
 HIGHLIGHTS
 1. So we had a baptism on Thursday! That was awesome! It was such a wonderful service and so many people showed up to support Dawn. The miller's came from Warren to be with her, because they are cousins, and it was amazing to see some familiar faces. I love that family so much. They are incredible and have a special place in my heart. Dawn is incredible and I'm so proud of her!
 2. Hagar and Judy, two of our refugee investigators, came to church! They are 13 and 12 and I just love them so much. They have such amazing questions about the gospel and a deep desire to follow God. They do everything we ask them to do and want to come to church every week from now on! I love them so much!
 3. We had Interview this week with President Bednar. It was SO good to talk to him and get some words of wisdom from him. I know he is called of God. He has blessed my life so much.
 4. We went tracting one day and literally everyone we talked to was so interested and set return appointments with us! That was definitely a miracle! This week I saw the first light house ever built in Erie and my favorite hymn came to mind that talks about light houses. The chorus says, "Let the lower lights be burning, send a beam across the waves. Some poor fainting, struggling seaman you may rescue, you may save." I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to be a light house to those searching for light in a dark and fallen world. I am honored to watch the light and love of christ change the lives of those around me. It goes too fast, but I'm honored. I love you all!

Have a great week!
