Every Hood Needs a Good Dollar Tree! February 19, 2018

Hello everyone!
This was a pretty decent week, despite 7 people dropping us in 24 hours, being followed by a creepy man down a dark street, and the large amount of rain, it's been good! I've eaten ridiculous amounts of chocolate to Make up for the hard days haha. Here is my highlights!
 HIGHLIGHTS
 1. So yeah, one day we got dropped by 7 people including 2 less actives and a recent convert, but it's all good! When one door closed, another one opens! And that proved to be true. I prayed my little heart out that we would find someone and a miracle happened! Prayers are answered! We met a lady named Chennelle who the sisters have been trying to contact for 5 months with no luck! She was home and let us right in to teach her a lesson. We taught her the restoration and she was all smiles and excitement the whole time! Before we even finished she was like begging us to come back next week. It was amazing!
 2. So I've been learning sign language to help a less active who is deaf. We went this week and I swear I know nothing about sign lol. But, for what I could testify to her, the spirit was so strong. And she knew that what we taught her was true. It's just humbling to see the hand of the lord work a marvelous work through a weak instrument like me.
 3. This week I asked for a blessing from my District leader, Elder Williams, and it was exactly what I needed. I know that God is so aware of us and our struggles. It answered some questions I had and helped me so much.
 4. As a personal highlight not pertaining to missions, I GOT ACCEPTED TO BYU-I. Sure not a big feet for some, but it has given me a lot of peace of mind concerning my future after the mission.
 5. Hagar and Judy are AMAZING. they came to church again this week and had so many wonderful questions about what they learned. They especially loved young women's, and said it was "lit" haha! I love those girls. 6. The elders sent us a referral for a lady that was GOLDEN from 5 years ago. Turns out the lady actually lived in the elders area but we went anyways lololol. She still lived there and she's AMAZING! She really wants to be taught again and was thrilled to see us. That's about all I have. I love you all so much! I've appreciated all the letters and what not I have been getting. It's been awesome. Have a good week yinz!
