So this week was pretty awesome. But first news: I am getting transferred to Erie, PA! That's right! I'm gonna freeze my little tush off! But I'm excited, it'll be great. My new companion is Sister Jeffery. Ive met her before and she seems awesome! It'll be a good time. My new address will be down below!
HIGHLIGHTS
1. On Tuesday I went in exchanges to Franklin and it was a real good time! Sister sage is also from Alaska and it was really fun to have someone who related to how awesome it is around haha. We saw a ton of Miracles together. A few months ago I taught a girl named Sariah who was struggling with a lot of questions and it really helped her. Later, she referred her boyfriend John, who lives in Franklin, to the sisters and he got baptized! I was able to teach him a lesson and Sariah called in. It was just way cool to see that whole thing go full circle. There was so many tender mercies when I was there but that's just one!2. On Wednesday we were invited to come to mutual with the young women. They had a Q&A about missions and how to talk to your friends about the gospel and it was sooooo fun. I hope they learned something from me! Haha.
3. On Friday the Reids had us over for the best spaghetti and meatballs of my LIFE, but that's beside the point. Sam's brother, rusty, and sister in law were down visiting from New York and rusty was way excited to see us! Turns out he lived in Arizona for a while and got really familiar with the church and the Doctrine and had just lost contact when he moved back up. So, on Sunday we went back and talked to the Reids about setting a date for baptism. The spirit kept hitting me like a sucker punch in the gut saying "you need to ask rusty and his wife if they want to be baptized!" but that's crazy! I'd never taught them before! But I did ask and they were so excited for the invitation. They said yes and would like to meet with us. To make the story better, they are moving to warren next week! I'm so excited to see how that pans out.
4. On Saturday we went tracting in the rain and came across a potential named Michelle. She was so excited to see "women missionaries" and immediately wanted to set up an appointment with us. She had been taught years and years ago and asked tons of questions about members of the group, and even still had her BOM!. She is so prepared to learn again. The sister have an appointment with her for a lesson AND dinner next Friday.
5. Also, I hit 13 Months. I'm pretty much ancient. Time goes by waaaaayyyy to fast! There is honestly way more highlights than those but this letter is already forever long. I'm sad to be leaving Warren. I really am. It's my baby! And I love the people here so much and my little group. But God has a work for me to do in Erie! I know that for sure.
I love you all!
So one day my stomach was hurting SO much but I wanted to go out really bad. So, I heated up my rice pack and stuck it in my jacket. We couldn't help but take a picture next to the hospital. I didn't go everywhere like this I promise.
So basically I just got bored weekly Planning. Sorry family, I truly am an embarrassment
Beautiful PA!
