Count Your Many Blessings- May 14, 2018

I'm not even going to sugar coat it ya'll. This week was really hard for me. But, I've been doing a whole lot of praying and a whole lot of reading and that has helped me. I know I can pull myself out of this and I'm so thankful for my AWESOME companion who helps me feel loved and sees the bright side in everything. Sister Nilsson is incredible and I am so blessed to have her. I am so blessed. I have great family and friends, I have a great companion, the sun is out and beautiful, the trees are finally green, SO BLESSED!That's a reason to be happy! HIGHLIGHTS 1. I had my FINAL interview with President Bednar this week. It was so bittersweet. I'm so thankful for all he had taught me. In preparation her asked me to think about what I've learned about God and myself since being on a mission. Holy moly, the list is endless. I have changed so much, and my perception of God has changed. I know he loves us, and I know he's listening. 2. The flowers are all blooming, as well as the trees. Yep, blooming! PA has tons of Dogwood trees and magnolia trees that are just so beautiful. I wish yinz could see. It was a sight for sore eyes 3. Sister Nilsson ate a whole bag of nuts, that had a calorie count of over 2000 in less than 10 minutes and it was the funniest thing of my life explaining to her how much she just in-took, considering how healthy she is. I love my Swedish fish 🐟 I guess it has been a hard week for both of us hahaha. 4. We got mauled by a great Dane. Not really though. We have a member who has a great Dane who is really young and he will jump and slobber all over you. He's usually in his cage when we go, but this week he was right outside to greet us. He went for Sister Nilsson first, and as he was all over her I ran to the door scared for my life (I was totally going to leave Sister Nilsson helpless, that's how bad of a comp I am lol) but he caught me before the door. It was a pretty funny experience and I sure the members got a laugh out of watching us in panic and fear. He is the size of a horse I swear! Haha I am sorry but that's literally all I have. We didn't see many people this week at all. Just a lot of tracting in the rain and yinz know I love that! But despite it all, I'm still so happy to be here. God has put me here for a great purpose, and I'll keep working hard until the end. I love you all! 1-3. Playing on the playground! 4. THE MOMENT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR. I FOUND SOME CROCS 5-7. The beauty of PA 8. Talking with the fambam!
