That Man has a Tambourine! September 18, 2017

Holy Cow! This week was an absolutely crazy one! So many good, weird, awesome things. I just love being a missionary! You never know what to expect on the day to day haha
 HIGHLIGHTS
 1. First off, the leaves have started to change before my eyes! It's so pretty, and I can't wait until they have all fully changed color! It just reminds me how long I've been on my mission and freaks me out. Before I know it I'll be at a year haha!
 2. The Dobsons! I just love Peggy Sue and Lydia so much! Lydia struggles with anxiety and that's why she doesn't come to church and when we came this week she said, "guess what?! I went out around lots of people by myself and didn't freak out! I was totally calm! Maybe now I can come to church!" it warmed my heart SO much! The conscious effort she's making to do what we ask her to is just amazing. Tender Mercy!
 3. ERIC! Ugh I love Eric! He's so incredible and has such a humble and sincere desire to learn more. This week we talked about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and we asked him if he'd prayed about a date to be baptized and he said, "I know I need to be baptized and I will be baptized, I just don't have a date yet". It was so awesome. After he bore his testimony of the things we have taught him and how it influences his life and his desire to be baptized. I'm so excited for him! Keep him in your prayers!
 4. Thursday we had zone conference which is always amazing! President Bednar talked about the Gospel of Jesus Christ as it relates to missionaries and it helped me so much! About Faith he said, "Your faith, wherever and however it is, is enough. It's all that you need to be able to teach and testify. If you have not seen with your eyes the face of God, or felt his physical body, or heard his audible words, then I encourage you to join with me in my faith." That brought me so comfort and helped me feel like no matter how big or how small my faith or my efforts are, it's enough and god is proud of me 5
. The thing that made Zone Conference the best was Elder Brent H Neilson of the General Authority Seventy was there with his wife. They had so many wise words to share with us and I had the spirit confirm to me multiple times he is called of God.
 6. On Friday night I got really sick and threw up quite a few times, which really stinks haha. But, that morning I got up and we went and did service for someone in need. I was able to work very well and not feel too sick and had just enough energy to do what I needed. I just know that wasn't from me. God gave me the things I needed to still help others and to give me strength me when I couldn't do it. I'm just so grateful for the seen and unseen things God does for me That's about all I have for this week! This Saturday we have transfers. I think I'll probably stay here with Sister Finau, but you never know! Stay tuned! Until then, Ofa Atu!
