It's November! Can you believe that? That means it's time to get into the Christmas spirit!! Seriously, I am so excited for Christmas. We'll the news of the week is transfers happened, and obviously I am staying here in Warren, which is super fantastic! But, I will be getting a new companion, Sister Anderson! HIGHGLIGHTS
1. HALLOWEEN! My second favorite holiday. We went over and had a real Halloween fest with my favorite people, the Mcmillans! They are such a cute family. Also, I hit the 1 year mark since I received my mission call! Man has time flown2. A few weeks ago we had an investigator come up to us at church and asked us to teach her. This week we finally got to! Chelsea is a super awesome girl who really just wants to have truth in her life. We taught her the Plan if Salvation and really who Christ is and it touched her so much. We invited her to baptism and she said yes! She is currently praying about a date. God is good!
3. We went and taught my boy Wolfgang again! Man I love that kid. We taught him about spiritual gifts and about how because God loves us he gives us those gifts. When we left he looked brighter and more self confident than ever before.
4. On Saturday we got to go to a baptism of a man the elders have found. Man, I am SO grateful for this church and to know that baptisms done in the Church of Jesus christ of Latter Day Saints are done by someone who holds the proper authority from God. It was so nice to go and reflect back on my own baptism.
5. Last night we had a lesson with Cindy and Sam. We were a little worried about them because we hadn't heard from them all week, so we decided to stop by. We had a fantastic lesson with them about temples and eternal families. Their faces lit up as we told them that they could be sealed together for time and all eternity, not just until death do you part. Turns out, they had been gone all week visiting family and inviting people to their baptism! They also shared with their family everything we have taught them thus far and led us to come people who are interested because of what Cindy and Sam have shared. They are amazing!
6. Last but not least, I GOT MY UKULELE! I'M SO PUMPED. OK I'm done haha We have been doing a ton of apartment finding and yet to have found anything good. Please keep us in your prayers so we find one soon. I just want yinz to know that I love you, and I know God loves you even more. Despite any weakness, any trial, or mistake, God loves you unconditionally. He rejoices when you do good and weeps with you on the lows. Don't ever forget that.
