SIGNIFICANT EVENTS
1. OK so on Tuesday we were in Bridgeville and we were just pulling out of sonic after getting happy hour slushies. I was sipping on my slushy at the stop light (I'm not a hooligan I promise) and WE GOT REAR ENDED. My life has never flashed before my eyes so fast. For as hard as he hit us, I'm surprised it wasn't worse. So we pull over and get out and the guy that hit us is cussing like crazy, then he sees our name tags and dresses and says, "Oh crap! I hit nuns!", so funny. Sister Nelson and I are alright besides a little whip lash, but we were pretty shaken up! Luckily Sister Nelson is level headed cause I was shaking and shutting down lol. The most tragic part of this story is when we got hit, my slushie went all over my clothes, so I was sticky for the rest of the day lol.2. We went to go contact a referral and we had a run in with poison ivy and also they had a very VERY large Rottweiler that scared me half to death. Thank goodness for fences. Again, we are safe somehow haha.
3. Wednesday we had Zone Conference and it was awesome!! We talked all about the first vision and I learned so much. President Bednar is so inspired and I just love working with him. My testimony of Joseph Smith is considerably stronger because of his trainings.
4. On Thursday we had a less active of ours, Phyllis, passed away. So, we had to go and let someone who was really close to her know she had passed. It was super sad and I just wish we could have comforted her more. I'm so grateful for the knowledge I have that we will see our loved ones after we die. I can't imagine not seeing my Grammy again.
5. Also on Thursday, we had the Dobson family feed us dinner. And as a surprise to us, they thought we would like to order out because we don't get to much. It was so sweet of them! Also Sister Dobson has met Zach from ghost adventures and they are friends. THAT'S AWESOME.
6. We had a fabulous lesson with Josh, the less active we found last week. He is just so prepared to come back to church and his willingness to learn and humility is just awesome.
7. BIGGEST NEWS. WE ARE IN A TRIO AGAIN. Friday we got a call from President Bednar and another sister in our mission went home, so Sister Albrecht is with us for the rest of the transfer! She is awesome and I'm excited to work with her
8. Last thing, we started volunteering at a senior living place this week that is the most prestigious thing I've ever seen. But we were selling tickets for a Chinese auction and man are those senior citizens feisty! Haha it was way fun though. I think that's about all I have for this crazy week. Again, I really appreciate your prayers and support. They have brought me strength I didn't think I had this week and I'm so grateful for you all and love you so much. Missions are incredible but they can be hard sometimes! But your support makes it so much easier.
I will talk to you next week!
