Where You Want Me to Go: God is So Good! August 7, 2017

Hey Yinz!
How are you all?! I am doing awesome, Green Tree is awesome, things are just great! We have had a great week and I'm so excited to share some highlights with you As a side-note, this is the last week of the transfer and more than likely I will be staying here in Green Tree, and Im 99% sure I'll have a new companion! So look forward to that cause I know it'll be great!

HIGHLIGHTS

1. Last Monday we Tracted about 2 hours and had a goal to hand out a book of mormon. Everyone was nice, but not interested. It was about 9 pm and we still hadn't handed out one. So we tried one more house and we met Linda! She was so kind and gladly accepted our book of mormon and asked us to come back this week. There are people ready out there!
2. On Tuesday we went and tried a less active family who had been basically lost for about 3 years. We caught them at a time they were home and they were so nice and wanted us to come back and share a lesson with them! So excited about that
3. On Wednesday we got to go and do service for the Ketchum family and it was crazy! We helped strip a floor. It was messy, it was stinky, and so fun! I wore shoes that didn't have a ton of traction, so when I stepped on the floor with its sticky stripping goo I biffed it so hard! Haha it was really hard work but it felt good to be doing service again.
4. Thursday we went and did Chalk finding and a park/overlook of the great city of Pittsburgh! We got to talk to quite a few people and you're going to be blown away by the pictures
5. A couple of weeks ago we called a potential investigator named Eric and he never responded, which is pretty normal and we honestly forgot about it. Well, out of the blue he called us back and said he wanted us to come and meet with him! We were so confused because we had no idea who he was until we did some searching through our records haha. But that never happens and we are so pumped!
6. We did service for Sister Benjamin and it was so fun! We weeded and mowed through nearly 4 feet of grass and weeds and it looks great now! I wish I would've taken a picture but I forgot. But then afterward, Sister Benjamin gave us some cornrows! And I'm still going strong with mine .
7. Our Investigator, Judith, came to church on her own this week! She usually comes with her member boyfriend, but this week she came even without him which is so amazing! We start lessons with her this week.
8. MATT DRAKE GOT BAPTIZED! Matt is a guy the elders have been teaching and we got to go to his baptism. It was incredible! The happiness on his face as he came out of the water was amazing. He shown! I'm so happy for him . That's about all I have for this week, at least those are my highlights haha. I love you all and hope you are doing well! God bless and have a good week!
