Another Pday has come! A lot of people have asked me about transfers lately. The next transfers are on June 24th, and I will more than likely be transferred. WOO-HOO! I love New Bloomfield but I think you know when it's time for a change. But there's always a possibility I will stay, so I won't get too excited yet haha
HIGHLIGHTS
1. Zone Conference. ZONE CONFERENCE. ZONE CONFERENCE!! It was AMAZING. I learned so much and it totally changed my perspective on life and missionary work. After what was taught, I don't think I've ever been more excited to be a missionary, and I'm not going to let any moment pass me by. I LOVE THE PPM!2. This week at BOLO (another food bank organization) we scooped over 100 pounds of bulk corn flakes into smaller bags. Yum!
3. Sister Dean had a birthday! She's 20, ew so old! Sister Clouse through her an awesome not so surprise birthday party and it was way fun! Also, we got her to sit on the saddle at Texas road house! Lol .
4. On Friday we went to a ward BBQ at the Booths and afterwards Joan and I made a rhubarb pie! That was pretty fun and tasty!
5. We went and had a lesson with Dee and her chicken sat on my shoulder half of it. Only in Perry County, that's all I have to say.
LOWLIGHT THIS WAS THE JOHNSONS LAST ZONE CONFERENCE. I'm going to miss them so much and all that they have taught me. They are amazing people and have truly changed my life. I bawled like a baby hugging them goodbye at zone conference. But I am excited to meet president and sister Bednar!
ON THE SPIRITUAL SIDE This week one thing really stuck out to me that has given me a lot of strength and comfort. One Elder who is finishing his mission bore his testimony in zone conference. During his testimony he talked about a time in his mission when he wanted to give up and didn't think he could do it anymore. As he prayed to God he received these words into his mind, "You can't do it. But WE can." My dear friends, God is always with us. This life is full of ups and downs and things we just can not do. But with god, ALL things are possible. I testify that he loves us, that he lives, and he has a plan for all of us. I love you and pray for you all daily!
Sister Dean and I were totally matching one day and wanted to take a cutesy picture and you can't even tell we matched....
Us with Dee's kids, Zoey and Andrew
Sister McDonald, Sister Ropers trainer, came to visit New Bloom! Sister McDonald trained both of our Moms so she is our grandma! Confusing, I know.
