Fountains of Blessings August 14, 2017

Hey everyone!
This week went by so fast and I am so excited to tell you about some of the things that happened again. Honestly, I can't remember a ton of what happened so bear with me lololol.
 HIGHLIGHTS
 1. Interviews with President Bednar this week were so amazing! He is just so great and I relate with him on a spiritual level. I have never met someone who eminates the love of Jesus christ like he does. I learn something new every time I see him! I'm just so grateful for him!
 2. So last week we had that potential call us back named Eric. This week we met him for the first time and oh my goodness he is amazing! If you put all the gold in the world and molded it to him that still wouldn't be enough to explain how golden he is. He is a single father who owns his own charity where he goes around the world helping people in need. Wherever he goes he goes to the closest temple and walks the grounds. I swear he knows more about the church than I do! I'm so excited to keep teaching him!
 3. We met a less active named Stephanie for the first time this week. She was so sweet and loves missionaries so much. We were going to teach a lesson, but instead we helped weed and pick her garden for 2 hours! Haha she gave us a ton of fresh produce which made for great stuffed peppers and Pennines (sp?) for dinner
 4. Not exactly a highlight, but one of our investigators called us with a very urgent message. Her son had just got shot a few days ago and the guy who shot him is still out, and she is not allowed out of her home. She was crying and asking us to pray for her and help her. My heart broke for her, but it also sang for joy because she knew she could call us. She knew that we would help her with whatever she needed and could confide in us. That's when you know your missionary is right .
 5. Thursday was a day full of literally no one being home or answering their texts. But, we decided to try one more less active before going home. We met Mary Hays and she is such a sweetie! She told us all about her and how we could help her son get back to church. Miracles!
 6. Saturday was another day full of no one being home! But, the very last person we tried was home and she was so prepared! She said she had just been thinking that she hadn't seen any missionaries in a while and we showed up! She was so grateful to see us and wanted to know all about us. We are going to back in a few weeks to teach a lesson There are some really awesome things going on here in Green Tree! I feel as though green tree is right on the edge of having some major miracles, and I'm so grateful to be apart of it . I guess my last little bit of news is TRANSFERS. Sister Nelson is going home, Sister Albrecht is going back to where she got Emergency Transferred from, and I'm getting a new companion, SISTER FINAU! She's been out a transfer longer than me and I've heard great things. Also, I'm finally getting the islander companion I've always wanted. YEEESSSS!
I love you all, until next week!
