I can't believe it's Pday again already and I'm writing! This week I'm thrilled to write you because it was one crazy, wacky week. But first of all, happy fathers day to all you awesome dads, especially mine, he's the best one . Father's are the best!
HIGHLIGHTS
1. On Tuesday we had a lesson with Grammy and Pappy! It was so good. We shared a message about keeping the sabbath holy and invited them to come to church with us this coming week. They loved the video and said they would be at church. Part of the reason they agreed is because Sister Dean and I are singing, but hey, anything to get people to come! Haha2. Sister Dean hit her half way mark on Tuesday and we burned a shirt of hers in commemoration! Also on Tuesday, it hit 106 degrees here in New Bloom! Holy cow was it hot!
3. On Thursday we went and did service for the Booths and when we were done we sat in the backyard and made s'mores together. Sister Dean and I had a s'mores eating contest. Needless to say, I won, but for the sake of my mother I won't tell you how many I ate
4. A general highlight, the fireflies are starting to come out! I've never seen them before and now I love them so much!
5. Now for the weird part. On Friday we got a call from Bishop Cooper asking if we could attend a wedding in three hours for one of our less actives and we said of course. So we went and it was at the chapel and bishop was officiating it. It was..... Definitely an unforgettable experience! Thanks wife spoke hardly any English and there was only about 10 people including us there, and someone had to translate for her. But, congrats to them and I'm glad we got to go!
6. Not a Highlight, but this week I managed to look the keys in our apartment or church not one, not two, but five times! Go Sister Parry! I should definitely get some kind of award for that.
7. Not a highlight, but pretty hilarious. Sister Dean got poison ivy! Before you think I'm totally heartless, we caught it in time and took some precautions and it looks like it won't be serious haha
8. We got to move a new Family into our ward on Saturday! They were so sweet and we had a lot of hands helping! I thought I was going to get out of moving things this weekend, while my parents are getting ready to move, but I guess not! Also, it was 80 degrees and about 75% humid so that's fun! I think that's all I have. This Saturday we will. Be receiving transfer boards, and more than likely this will. Be my last week in New Bloomfield. I'm so thankful for all I have learned here and the love and support everyone has shown me. This is definitely a hard area, but I know God has people here that are ready to here about Jesus christ and to follow his example. I love ya'll!
