Where You Want Me to Go: The Week I Was A Walk Sister August 21, 2017

Malo lalei! Fefe Hake! That's Tongan for Hello, how are you doing?
Basically, I'm fluent in tongan by now. Haha I wish. But seriously, Sister Finau is teaching me and I'm catching on quick. We actually have conversations in Tongan and I understand most of what she says. Anyways, I am doing great! This was a really awesome week and I'm so excited to tell you all about it!

HIGHLIGHTS

1. SISTER FINAU. She can be a highlight. Sister finau is seriously amazing. Like I said last week, I have always wanted a Polynesian companion and it was well worth the wait. And she is Tongan which is even better (shout out to my akaoula family)! She's amazing and we are having so much finde together, while doing a lot of work of course. Great things are going to happen this transfer, I know it.
2. We had a really awesome lesson with our investigator, Mamie. Well, kind of a lesson. So we were going to teach the restoration, but she rambled for a really long time because she's going through some stuff. But, I felt prompted to share a Mormon message called "None were with him" and she cried like a baby and the spirit was so strong. When we left her she was reading the BOM and the Restoration pamphlet.
3. We went and did emergency service for Sister Carty because she had maggots. Gross. But the fact she was so paranoid and like screaming was seriously the funniest and best way to initiate Sister Finau into Green Tree.
4. So a few weeks ago, you all know we got Rear ended. So this week it was in the shop, and our lovely fleet coordinator did not want to give us a car for the tentative 2 days-1 week ours would be in the shop. So we walked a lot this week! It was the hottest week since I have been here and it didn't phase us. We stayed happy even we had walked 4 miles and no one was home. God watched out for us!
5. We had another lesson with our less active, Sister Watson, and just wanted to do a restoration lesson with her. The spirit was so strong and it was the best lesson I think I've ever taught. We left her on a real spiritual high!
6. Saturday we got to do Service for two non members, Nancy and Becky, and it was so great! We weeded and fixed their hedges and I also got a little more sun so that's a plus. Hopefully we will be able to teach them!
7. My favorite highlight, WE HAVE 4 INVESTIGATORS AT CHURCH. It was AMAZING. And one of them was Eric, who we now have another lesson with this week. Green Tree has a lot of miracles coming its way! 8
. Also, my cousin Davey from Utah surprised me at church! He was on a business trip in Pittsburgh and went to church at my building! I was so surprised and happy to see him and definitely it was crazy to see family haha. That was way cool! This week was just so great and this week is going to be even better, I know it. I'm so grateful for the things God is doing here in Green Tree and to be apart of it. The fact that God trusts me with his children is seriously humbling. I love being a missionary and the end is not far enough away! Ofa Atu everyone!
