Where You Want Me to Go: Peed on by a Port-a-Potty July 31, 2017

Holy cow everyone, this was the longest week ever. I know I said that last week but I mean it now. So many good and crazy things happened and I have a lot to report on. But, once again I don't really have a lot of highlights, just a lot of weird things that happened lol. I swear this isn't going to be how it is forever.

WEIRD CONUNDRUMS

1. We had exchanges with the Pittsburgh STLS and it was real good! Sister Albrecht and I went with Sister Fenton and it was a good time. We got to help at a food bank (yes that's my jam!) and the ladies there sent us home with a giant box of bread and Bagels.
2. Wednesday Morning I heard 4 gunshots and an ambulance right after #hoodlife #sorrymom
3. So, to save miles we walked like 5 miles on Thursday around McKees Rocks. It was crazy because it was mostly hills and literally no one was home, but I guess it was a good work out!
4. We have been getting a lot of referrals lately that are pretty much for a lack of a good word, duds, and it's been kind of frustrating. But we got one for a lady named Mamie who wanted a bible and actually set up an appointment with us! We got to go over and teach her about the book of mormon and give her the Bible and she was just so prepared! She wanted to know more about what we believe and wanted to come to church, it was great! We will see her again tomorrow.
5. We went to a Ukrainian festival for dinner one night for another church. The looks we got were pretty hilarious but it was way fun and there was some good food.
6. The Hardest part about serving with elders is that people will NOT let you do service for them. They give it all to the elders and we are stuck doing missionary work all the time. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but I need a break. Well, bishop Smith told us that Sister Benjamin needed some yard work done and we jumped on it before the elders could. So on Saturday we went over and did tons of weeding and mowing and it was AWESOME. I was exhausted though because I mowed the hill of a yard and was pretty much dead by the end. The best part was after she saw all we did she said, "wow, you guys did a better job then the men would have done" SCORE. We are going over next Saturday. #watchoutelders
7. I got peed on by a port a potty. I went to flush it and it went all over my legs. It was funny but more because I was in such a bad mood (yes me in a bad mood) and I couldn't help but laugh. I think God was telling me to lighten up. I love you all and miss you dearly. Keep the emails and cards coming, you're slacking people! God Bless, and have a great week!
